Reiki can be translated as "universal life force energy" and is a natural system of therapeutic touch that promotes an improved sense of wellbeing and feeling of spiritual renewal. Reiki is a complementary therapy and is used alongside conventional medicine. You should always seek advice from your GP if you have a health concern and Reiki can provide an opportunity to add an extra element to your self care routine.
The body has wonderful healing abilities. My goal is to help you to relax deeply, setting aside the worries of the conscious mind, so that your body, mind and spirit can replenish themselves and you can enjoy a renewed sense of well-being.
Perimenopause is a time of huge transition and change in the body and can be the first time in our lives that we have to consciously address health and wellbeing. For some, this can come with other life changes and questions around career, relationships and family, which all contributes to stress levels.
As with any transition, there are mental, emotional and spiritual aspects to perimenopause and it can be a time when women take stock of their lives and gradually come to embrace the unfolding of this next chapter and enjoy the power that comes from female experience, strength and wisdom! But sometimes, before we reach this stage, we need a little help while we are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
As an holistic therapist, I offer guidance at this time by helping you identify the areas where you could most benefit from support, and with a full understanding of YOUR personal situation and needs, we will devise a plan to help you feel more in control.
Menopause wellness sessions can be experienced in person at my practice in Crawley or online, and in person sessions can be combined with Reiki for a relaxing treat.
