I have completed a COVID-19 awareness course and made some changes to protect client wellbeing. I'll continue to keep the majority of these measures in place after 19 July, although the rules relating to face coverings have changed and it is up to you if you would like to wear a face covering for your Reiki session.
Before you come for your appointment, I'll check I'm feeling well and will ask you some questions specifically about COVID-19. When you arrive, I'll have the QR code for the Test and Trace scheme available and we'll practise social distancing apart from during the treatment itself. In line with guidance, the Reiki session time will be restricted to one hour if you are in a higher risk category.
I'll be disinfecting the therapy couch after each client, along with door handles and other "high touch" areas. All towels and other linens will be washed at 60 degrees.
The Reiki therapy room will be ventilated with fresh air. (Washable blankets will be provided for 'fresher' days!)
I'll have hand sanitiser available when you arrive. I'll wash my hands before and after each Reiki session.
I will continue to wear a face mask for Reiki therapy and I have received both doses of the COVID vaccination. It is up to you if you would like to wear a mask for your Reiki appointment.
I'm set up to receive payment by credit and debit card, and by Apple Pay.
To minimise the risk of infection, I will only be providing still or sparkling water in a sealed bottle. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments if you prefer.
