My name is Sheri Werner and I'm the founder of Seven Jewels Therapies. I'm a fully qualified and insured Level 2 Accredited Reiki practitioner serving the community in Crawley, Horsham and surrounding areas in West Sussex/Surrey and working with organisations in those areas and in the City of London to deliver Reiki as part of wellbeing programmes. I'm a CNHC registrant for Reiki. This means I have completed approved supervised training and abide by a strict code of professional conduct. I'm also a member of the UK Reiki Federation and the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I spent 13 years working in human resources in corporate law fims in the City of London before moving into holistic therapy. I underwent a transformational process of healing and self development as I entered my forties and knew that I had to be, literally, more hands-on! I wanted to take the professional skills I had learnt into my new industry, which is why I undertook additional accredited training so as to meet high standards. You can read more about this below. .

I make soy scented candles celebrating the divine feminine - they are named after goddesses of the Greek pantheon, real women and girls, and feminine energy in the universe. Available on this site via the Seven Jewels Candles page!
From 2021 to 2023 I volunteered weekly as a Reiki therapist at the Olive Tree Cancer Support Centre in Crawley.
From May 2023, I am employed by the Olive Tree as their Centre Manager in Horsham. The Olive Tree is a Queen's Award-winning charity that supports cancer patients and their carers. As well as offering free complementary therapy to those affected by cancer, other services include counselling, social groups, a wig-fitting service, yoga, books and leaflets, and workshops on skincare, makeup and scarf-tying, for example. Complementary therapies are offered alongside any medical treatments that patients are receiving, and do not replace conventional treatment or represent a treatment or cure for any condition. The aim is to help people:
Did you know that anyone can claim to be a complementary therapist as the industry is unregulated in the UK? The good news is that there is a voluntary registration system for those who want to Stand Up for Standards in their chosen therapy.
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is a regulator for complementary therapists and exists solely to protect the public. The CNHC holds a Register accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body accountable to Parliament. All CNHC registrants have voluntarily chosen to register, and must have met national standards of competence, hold appropriate insurance, adhere to a professional code of conduct, and undertake annual continuing professional development.
By choosing to work with me as a CNHC registrant for Reiki, you can be confident that I have completed a programme of approved training and I will put your needs as a client first. You can check I'm on the Register by visiting www.cnhc.org.uk Find out more about why it's important to choose a therapist on an Accredited Register at the CNHC You Tube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2DdF6Z77fI
I am also a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the UK Reiki Federation, which are professional associations promoting high standards of education, training and practice.
My training was with Brighton Holistics and took place over 18 months. It included a Level 3 Qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, 75 documented treatments (case studies), background research on the therapy, client care and professional practice, and mini courses on nutrition, equality and diversity, stress, mental health, health and safety and Covid-19 awareness and risk management.
In 2022 I completed a Menopause Holistic and Wellbeing Practitioner course with Gateway Workshops. The course covered the hormonal changes during menopause, how these affect the body, the medical and natural options available for treatment, and how to approach this transition holistically, looking at sleep, exercise, diet, self-care, mindset and purpose.
