In order for Seven Jewels Therapies to provide you with the service requested, we need to collect personal information to arrange appointments, and, with your consent, keep in touch for marketing purposes. If this is done via email, the email will be deleted once your data has been transferred to the secure client filing system. In addition, we will seek sensitive information relating to medical/health issues that will be used by your therapist in preparing your treatment plan. This will be collected via a paper form and saved securely in the client filing system. Explicit consent to continue to hold this will be sought at the outset of treatment.
To comply with insurance requirements, files including client notes and correspondence will be held securely for a period of ten years following treatment, after which they will be destroyed securely. If you would like your data to be destroyed prior to this, please discuss this with your therapist.
Seven Jewels Therapies will not sell your data. We will not share your data without your consent, except where professional ethics require the involvement of third parties if there is deemed to be a risk to you or to another person.
